Because we have a real-time problem with sin, God meets it with a Savior who enters into real time for us. Christ acts once with comprehensive, eternal finality to redeem the whole world from sin. But now, in certain places and times throughout our lives, the Lord manifests Himself to deliver this eternal, heavenly help for all those who believe. He remains forever true Immanuel, “God With Us.”
